Welcome to St. Elizabeth’s Primary School. I am very pleased to have this opportunity to tell you about the work and the activities that take place at our school and the Christian values under which it operates.

Entering school is an important step in the life of any child and at St. Elizabeth’s we endeavour to make your child’s time here happy and productive.

As parents you naturally want the best for your child and we take that responsibility very seriously. We have high expectations of our children and we are proud of their achievements and the happy atmosphere that they create.   Everyone at St. Elizabeth’s is special and is valued for the contribution that they make to the life of the school as well as the work that they do as individuals.

Bonfire Night Menu

On Thursday 2nd November, Chartwells Catering are providing a 'Bonfire Night' menu. MAIN COURSE - Sizzling Bangers or Bonfire Veggie Sausage Roll SIDES - Baked Jacket Wedges, Baked Beans, Corn on the Cob DESSERT - Toffee Apple Crumble, Cooks Homemade Crunchy Biscuit, Fresh Fruit & Yogurt The cost of a school meal is £2.30 per child.


Non Uniform Day - Children's Tombola

Children are invited to attend school in non-uniform for the day in return for a donation to be used on our Children's tombola at our school Christmas Fair. Suggested donations include; new books, toys, puzzles, games, teddies / cuddly toys, sweets and chocolate. Children must wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather conditions.


Star Assembly

Parents and Carers are welcome to join our school assembly at 9.15am.


Y2 Tamworth Castle

We are planning to take the children to Tamworth Castle on Monday 6th November, 2017. This is a wonderful opportunity for the children and they will be taking part in a lot of activities and will also be learning about local history.


Y5 - Primary Challenge Workshop

On Thursday 9th November 2017, class 5 will be walking over to Landau Forte (QEMS) immediately after registration at 9.00am to take part in this year’s Primary Challenge workshop. Please arrive promptly for school, as the workshop commences at 9.20am. They will be returning for the end of the school day at approximately 3.15pm.


Mass - Led by Year 3

Parents, carers and community members are welcome to join our School Mass at 9.15am.


Reception to Y4 - Flu Immunisations

The nursing team will be visiting school to carry out flu immunisations for children in Reception Class through to Year 4.


Y4 - G & T Writers Workshop


Non Uniform Day - Christmas Tombola

Children are invited to attend school in non-uniform for the day in return for a donation to be used on our Christmas tombola. Suggestions include; new gift sets, bubble bath / shower gel, books, current diaries and calendars, gloves, scarves, ornaments, jewellery. Children must wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather conditions.

Mass - Led by Year 2

Parents, carers and community members are welcome to join our School Mass at 9.15am.


Family Mass

Parents, Carers and Community members are welcome to join our Family Mass at 10.30am, St John's Church.


Afternoon Tea with Santa

The Friends of St Elizabeth's are hosting an afternoon tea with Santa. Admission is £5 per child which includes a selection of cakes and sandwiches, a short Christmas movie, a Christmas quiz, games and a visit from Santa! Please forward a cash payment with the permission slip in an envelope clearly marked with your 'child's name and Afternoon Tea with Santa' - payment deadline is Friday 17th November. Sadly late payments cannot be accepted. The event concludes at 5pm, please collect children from Main School Reception.
